Where And About Cefalo's
Cefalo’s is 1 minute off the
Carnegie exit of the Parkway West (I-279), please visit their
website for directions. Their menu is diverse containing fresh
homemade pastas, quality seafood dishes, to Pittsburgh lounge/bar
favorites. In addition Cefalo’s provides a well stocked bar with
various imported and micro-brewed beer.
Cefalo’s prices are very reasonable and comparable to our former
location.
What Is Our Organization
The D.J.A.W.P. is an independent group of disc jockeys dedicated to improving ourselves, our industry, and our quality of service. The DJAWP makes every effort to be an independent association, free from the entanglements of any politics or industry infighting.
What We Do
Our members actively participate in an ongoing process of improvement that makes them among the best in the business. We meet monthly to better ourselves, our businesses and our techniques. We achieve this by having educational seminars, hosting industry guest speakers, and by sharing our collective experience.
Requirements for Membership
The D.J.A.W.P. accepts all independent disc jockeys and multi-op companies. Thus, our members have various levels of experience and different areas of specialization. Our members perform at a wide spectrum of events, from night clubs to black tie formal events, to school dances and proms, to corporate outings. Many of our members specialize in Wedding entertainment, ceremonies and receptions.
Education
Starting this year, the D.J.A.W.P is requiring members listed on the web site under "Find a DJ" to attend a predetermined number of monthly educational meetings or give a seminar or presentation during our monthly meetings. This is not an indication of any member's experience level, but does demonstrate a large level of commitment of self improvement.
